Stardust on the Road

The world revolves around a spinning axis.

Its inhabitants revolve around their own.

And we too revolve upon our own systems,

Until we find stardust on the road.


Same one track mind on a dirty path.

No u-turns are in the know.

We're all headed for an end too fast,

Until we find stardust on the road.


What joy we find in this sparkling substance!

Bits and pieces as we go.

Eternal light glowing brighter and brighter,

As we find stardust on the road.


When finally as we spread our treasure,

And encounter others who sowed,

We will come to see the bright harvest,

Made from stardust on the road.
